This new year of 2025 has started out with a few challenges, so much to the point where I am uncertain as to when the next class will be scheduled. Realistically, we will be looking more towards June or July before the next class will be scheduled.

Check back on my website from time to time and I will post again when I'm ready to hold another Minnesota Permit to Carry Class.

Meet the USCCA Certified Instructor - Timothy Nelson
Tim Nelson is a long-time resident of the Grand Marais area and certified firearms instructor through the United States Conceal Carry Association (USCCA). Tim has received the majority of his firearms and tactical training through eight years of active duty service in the US. military. Tim has possessed the Minnesota permit to carry since it first became available in 2003, and also holds the Utah conceal carry permit. Tim's instructors certification through the USCCA is currently recognized in more than a dozen other states, so additional state courses will be added in the future.
